This alarm will be triggered when no data have been received from a sensor installed on a technical installation for a long period of time. It might indicate that the sensor’s datalink has been broken - in other words it lost its connection - because there is no active gateway in range with a working internet connection.
Note: If the "Sensor data interval" have been changed to boost mode it affects the life expectancy of battery powered sensors and drains the battery faster.
