Alarm: SeepLeak

The indicative SeepLeak alarm is based on the temperature difference between the pipe being monitored and the ambient air, assuming that the fluid inside comes from either a hot or cold source.

  • For the leak alarm to correctly detect leaks, there must be sufficient data coverage (at least 96%) over the processed period.

  • In addition, there should be flow once in a while. If no flow at all is detected during the processed period, it is assumed that there is something wrong with the installation of the sensors.

Failing to meet either of these two requirements will generate alarms, that indicates a problem with detecting leaks.
